First and foremost, I am simple. What you see is what you get.

I tend to run into trouble only when people try to read too much into my words or actions. If you've read Robert Jordan's The Wheel Of Time series, I connect with the character of Perrin on many levels. I fit his physical description in a lot of ways as well (though I'm blonde and my beard isn't at all scraggly).

I live in Glendale, Ariz., which is a suburb of Phoenix. I work for Bank of America in Internal Communications. Graduated from Arizona State University with a Secondary Education - English degree, I discovered that I really didn't want to be a high school English teacher.

I have a son, Michael, who was born in 1995. Fatherhood has done wonders for me. I'm a single parent and have Michael about 4 to 5 days a week (which is opposite from the usual single father paradigm), and he has done wonders in grounding my soul and making me focus on the important things in life. I know that I am too overprotective of him and will pay dearly when he’s a teenager.

Those who know me would say above all that I am silly. I love making my life a fun place to be and yearn to make others laugh. I'm occasionally deeply religious, having spent much of my late teens and early twenties contemplating becoming a Catholic priest. (I'm not nearly as spiritual as I once was, and that bothers me, but life's diversions often take me down paths I wouldn't normally take.) I love to read, but don't make as much time for it as I should; I love the theatre, but don't budget for it as I'd like; and I love to travel, but aside from the occasional road trip, don't make the long-term plans I need to make.
